Well we have safely reached next destination, Cases de Pennes, outside Perpignan in Basque country. It is a complex of 6 gites set in an olive grove in the mountains, with only another 1 resident over the weekend. There is a fantastic communal area with barbecue, cleaned by owners today so we must use, fridge, oven and fan. Plus fantastic wifi connection. The owners stocked our fridge with wine, beer, milk and cold drinks so I am currently sinking a cool Kronenbourg at moment after 5 hours in the car.
Looks like tomorrow we will hit the Med coast and travel across the Pyrennees (not literaly) and on Monday we will visit Carcassonne that looks incredible, we passed it on the way here circa 1 hour away, as France closes on a Sunday no point going tomorrow.
Karla currently sunning herself as it is 22 degrees then we are off to supermarket and then settle back and watch the footie tonight. Come on the Buddies.
